Pinterest announced they are now offering business pages. Unlike Facebook and Google+, at this time, Pinterest business accounts have the same functionality as personal accounts. However, they only require the business name (bye bye first and last name requirement) and do incorporate website verification in the sign up process. Three cheers for Pinterest for making this so easy.

How To Convert Your Personal Pinterest Account to a Business Account
You can convert to a Pinterest business account simply visit this link and follow the steps: http://business.pinterest.com/
Pinterest has not yet revealed any differences in whether new functionality for business accounts will be added or ways to use these accounts will be restricted. So I am at a loss as whether to advise entrepreneurs and solopreneurs whether to change over right away. However, if Pinterest decides to offer ways for brands to promote their pins, or other new functions, we’ll have a new blog post up about it.
Businesses and individuals also now are have access to widgets to embed on their website showcasing their pins. Simply go to the Pinterest widget builder page and you’ll have the option to get a “profile” widget or “board” widget. You will get the code to embed on your webpage that will display images from your profile or a particular board.
